Approximately 15% of all women will experience postpartum depression following the birth of a child. Up to 10% will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy.
In our monthly meetings Kathy Schommer, Support Coordinator for Postpartum Support International (PSI) and Chris Lester, perinatal educator and passionate expert in maternal/infant wellbeing will provide information, support and resources for moms experiencing postpartum depression, as well as general information for pregnant women.
The purpose of PSI is to increase awareness within the community about the emotional changes that women experience during pregnancy and postpartum.
Meeting open to public. No RSVP required.
